Booking Terms & Cancellations

These terms apply to all bookings made through Nomadiq Routes, whether via our website, WhatsApp, email, or any other channel.

How bookings work

Nomadiq Routes acts as a connector between travelers and local operators in The Gambia. When you make a booking through us, we coordinate directly with the relevant operator on your behalf. All bookings are subject to availability and operator confirmation.

  • A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message from Nomadiq Routes
  • A deposit is required to secure your booking (amount communicated at time of booking)
  • Full payment terms will be provided at the time of confirmation
  • Payments are currently processed offline via methods communicated directly to you

Cancellations by the traveler

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the experience date: full deposit refund where possible
  • Cancellations made 3 to 7 days before the experience date: 50% of deposit retained
  • Cancellations made fewer than 3 days before the experience date: deposit is non-refundable
  • No-shows on the day: no refund will be issued

Cancellations by Nomadiq Routes or the operator

In the event that Nomadiq Routes or a partner operator must cancel your experience due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you a full refund of any deposit paid or, where possible, an alternative date or experience of equal value.

Modifications

If you wish to change the date or details of your booking, please contact us as early as possible. Modifications are subject to operator availability and cannot always be guaranteed.

Important: Nomadiq Routes is a platform connecting travelers to independent local operators. While we carefully vet all operators listed on our platform, we are not liable for the direct delivery of experiences. Any concerns about an experience should be raised with us promptly and we will work to resolve them on your behalf.

Force majeure

Nomadiq Routes shall not be held responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, or public health emergencies. In such cases we will work with operators to offer alternatives or partial refunds where possible.
